Frequently Asked Questions — HATCH

Question 1

Is the first conversation really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The first conversation is free and there's no obligation. It's a genuine conversation to understand your situation and see if I can help — not a sales call. If it makes sense to do paid work together, we agree on the scope and price before anything starts.

Question 2

What happens after I reach out?

Accepted Answer

I read your message myself and follow up by email to arrange a time to talk. After we talk, if there's a fit, we agree on what working together looks like before anything begins.

Question 3

Can I get advice without taking investment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can work with HATCH for advice and practical support without taking investment. Advising, planning, operational help, and coaching are all available on their own. Investment is selective and only comes up if it genuinely helps and the fit is right.

Question 4

What kinds of businesses and stages do you work with?

Accepted Answer

A broad range. People exploring an idea, owners running a business day to day, and established businesses planning what's next. Across industries too — food and beverage, service businesses, retail, trades, home services, professional services, and more. If you serve real people in your community, it's worth a conversation.

Question 5

Do I give up control of my business?

Accepted Answer

No. This is one of the most important things to know. I'm here to support, advise, and — when it fits — invest alongside you. You run the business. I help you run it better. Your business stays yours.

Question 6

What does the work look like day to day?

Accepted Answer

It depends on what you need. It can range from periodic check-ins and planning sessions to more hands-on help with operations, people, or a specific decision. The level of involvement is calibrated to what actually helps, and it can evolve over time.

Question 7

How does contact work?

Accepted Answer

Use the contact form on this site to tell me a bit about your business and what's on your mind. I'll respond personally to set up a time to talk. You can also email hello@growwithhatch.com directly if you prefer.
