About

Andrew Robin.
Founder of HATCH.

I'm Andrew Robin, and I started HATCH to give business owners the kind of help I wish more people had when they were building something: practical, honest, and focused on what actually moves the business forward.

HATCH isn't a consulting firm and it isn't a fund. It's me working directly with owners — on decisions, day-to-day operations, people, and growth — and bringing investment in only when it genuinely helps and the fit is right.

What HATCH is for

To help owners make better decisions, run stronger operations, lead people well, and grow with confidence — without giving up control.

How I work

Real experience, applied to your real business.

My background is in leading operations and people — managing teams, improving how businesses run day to day, and making hard calls under pressure. That's the lens I bring to your business: what actually works, not what looks good on a slide.

I work with a small number of owners at a time so I can show up meaningfully for each one. The work is people-first, with a bias toward action, accountability, and honesty — including telling you when something isn't working.

Decisions

Sorting through the options in front of you and choosing the right next move.

Operations

Finding where time, money, or energy leaks — and fixing it without unnecessary complexity.

People

Hiring, roles, accountability, and the leadership the business needs as it grows.

Growth

Knowing when you're ready, and building the foundation so growth strengthens the business.

What I stand for

Four things I won't compromise on.

Trust through competence and character

I earn trust by doing what I say, knowing my craft, and being straight with the people I work with.

Owners deserve to stay in control

I'm here to support, not to take over. Your business stays yours — always.

Good businesses serve communities

Well-run local businesses create jobs, serve neighbors, and strengthen communities. That matters.

Support should create mutual value

I succeed when you succeed. That alignment shapes every relationship.

A note on investment

Capital is available — but only sometimes, and never required.

When investment would genuinely help and the fit is right, HATCH can provide flexible capital — structured around your situation, not a standard term sheet. It's selective, and it's never the starting point of the conversation.

You can work with HATCH for advice and practical support without taking investment, and that's completely fine. Nothing here promises funding, and working together never depends on it. If you only want guidance, that's a perfectly good place to start.
